Wintel/Citrix developer needed

Kaiser IT is looking for Interns to fill positions for the following position.

Internship: Computer Science Majors, US Citizens or permanent residents, 2.85 GPA or higher, graduating in 2010 or later. Interns selected will guarantee and internship the following year. Interested applicants should email resume to chan.d.trimble@kp.org

Wintel/Citrix
Corona, CA
11.50/hr plus 1k in scholarships
M-F 8-5pm 40hrs

Department Function:
The EO TSS EPS Wintel Citrix team provides second level support to the Command Center for all Wintel / Citrix issues as well as maintaining the OS and over all health of all Wintel / Citrix servers. This includes performing a regular patching schedule to apply released and approved Microsoft patches, monitoring Event logs for errors that may indicate potential hardware issues, troubleshooting OS and performance issues, assisting in the problem determination of application problems, and network related problems.

Interns Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Assist in the development of SOX audit control requirements,/li>
  • Participate in Run Book Automation tasks, identifying and automating routine
    procedures
  • Develop and/or refine patching processes
  • Provide reporting of access control data for audit requirements
    Scripting automated health check tasks
  • General work flow - responding to incidents and services requests
  • Provide assistance with SR's and RFC's as needed
  • Assist in departmental efforts to document processes and populate knowledge
    base
