Position Description
This position reports to the Change Management manager within the Enterprise Operations Implementation Services organization. The position is located in Southern California (Pasadena or Corona Data Center) working 8 hour shifts 5 days a week. The Change Management Associate will be responsible for the review and quality check of all KPIT production Request for Change (RFC). RFC review and quality checks entail validation of the major components of an RFC such as implementation plans, test plans, backout plans, scheduled dates, MCV (maker, checker, verifier) and proper approvers. The associate will participate in activities that ensure end to end change management compliance within KPIT.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, with 2+ years of technical IT experience in a variety of disciplines, particularly in IT Infrastructure. A minimum of 1 year IT change control experience with a solid understanding of IT concepts and fundamentals would be beneficial. Experience in large computing environment with operations background and change management tools, such as Remedy a plus. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Six Sigma principles are not required but would be an added benefit. Experience in the healthcare industry with understanding of business drivers and dynamics is preferred.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Review production RFCs to ensure completeness, integrity and accuracy of information.
Assist in RFC compliance with SOX and audit requirements (internal and external).
Assist in RFC adherence to national change policies and procedures.
Assist in identifying possible conflicts/impacts in the change scheduled period.
Assist in creating and maintenance of master change calendar for CAB meetings.
Ensure proper, complete, and timely communication and coordination of change activities with KPIT and customer personnel and business owners/stakeholders as required.
Participate in post-change review sessions and assist in analyzing post-implementation data for future process improvements.
Maintain solid relationships with KPIT and business partner teams.
Assist in developing and posting standard change reports on the Change management web site.
